Nidhi Reddy completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from the Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur in 1980. She was the recepient of the NIPM Gold medal. Prior to that she graduated from Lady Sri Ram college in 1976 in Economics (Honours) & did her post graduation from the Delhi School of Economics in 1978.
She has several years of experience in reputed organisations - Tata Burroughs Ltd., Wipro Information Technology Ltd. & mPower Software Services. She started her career in Tata Burroughs in 1980 as a Management Trainee, then took on the responsibility of the Regional Manager - Personnel at Wipro & later headed, as Vice President, the HR function at mPower from 2003 to 2006.
In 1987, she started her own HR consultancy organisation - Nidhi Reddy Consultants - which has assisted over 400 clients in India & overseas in the area of Training, HR consultancy or Recruitment.
She is deeply interested in the area of training. Before she started conducting training for clients she has herself attended several training programs including a Train the Trainer Program, an intensive Leadership for results program conducted by a UNDP trainer & has been trained in the technique of self healing for trauma conducted under the guidance of several counselors from USA & Europe. She is currently doing the Internship Program with Sumedhas since she is interested in the area of process work.
She has conducted training on topics like Leadership, Motivation, Team Building, Communication, Time Management, Stress Management & Interviewing skills. She has been a resource person at IIM-A to conduct the Exploration in Role & Identity program. She leverages her rich corporate experience as well as her knowledge & skills in the HR function to work closely with organisations in creating the context specific interventions.
